We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Aloft AeroArchitects. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our aircraft maintenance, modification, and completion processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections and conformity checks on aircraft and products to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Release aircraft and products for return to service after successful inspections.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of inspection aids, test equipment, and techniques to determine airworthiness.
- Assist in the inspection of incoming materials, parts, and supplies, and ensure proper certification papers are routed to the Inspection Department.
- Determine airworthiness of subcontracted work performed outside the Repair Station.
- Ensure Preliminary and Hidden Damage Inspections are properly executed and recorded.
- Verify inspections of completed work are performed in accordance with engineering drawings, specified standards, regulations, or manuals.
- Perform aircraft document audits to ensure paperwork packages are complete prior to return to service.
- Excellent understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, Repair Station Manual, and Quality System Manual.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
