Position Overview:

Service excellence is the cornerstone of our operations at Vail Resorts, and our Lift Operations Supervisors play a crucial role in delivering this experience.

As a Lift Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the safe functioning of resort lifts, demonstrating courtesy and expertise while prioritizing safety and guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily lift operations, including scheduling, assigning lift operators, and managing opening and closing procedures.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols; assist in emergency situations and evacuations as required.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of lift operators.
  • Monitor and evaluate lift operator performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition as appropriate.
  • Stay informed about and enforce all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Inspect and maintain all operational equipment, tools, and facilities.
  • Address guest inquiries, comments, and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred. A valid driver's license is necessary, along with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a relevant area. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is essential. Candidates must be adaptable to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with the ability to communicate fluently in English.

The expected compensation for this position is competitive and will be determined based on individual experience.
