Job Overview

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Authority Coordinator

Location: National Capital Region

This initiative aims to deliver comprehensive assessment, monitoring, and evaluation (AM&E) support to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). Responsibilities encompass both desk and field research, data analysis, collection, visualization, strategy formulation, policy documentation, coordination, management of distribution lists, capacity building in AM&E, event organization, facilitation, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

The Authority Coordinator will assist in ensuring that templates and finalized products, along with the locations of analyses, planning processes, and information systems for documentation and sharing, align with the requirements of each covered Security Cooperation (SC) authority. Major responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the leadership team to identify priorities and devise solutions to challenges.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments of security cooperation initiatives.
  • Assisting in the formulation of indicators and metrics for evaluating security cooperation programs.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other deliverables for review by senior leadership.
  • Contributing to the design and creation of visual graphics (e.g., illustrations, layouts, designs) that effectively communicate essential information.
  • Supporting the establishment and upkeep of project processes and plans.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a DoD Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in planning, designing, or executing assessment, monitoring, and evaluation programs or projects.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in planning, executing, or overseeing policy or guidance for SC activities implemented under specified authority sections.
