Your Role at Baxter

As a Field Service Technician II, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing medical devices, working with our team to ensure our products are functioning accurately. You will also have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership by assisting with training other team members and addressing customers.

Your Team

You will be part of a dynamic field service team that works within hospital and service setting environments to repair medical devices. We offer a range of benefits, including dental, medical, and vision insurance, paid time off, and parental leave.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot devices and repair any malfunctioning components.
  • Ability to use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
  • Ability to provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
  • Ability to load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
  • Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
  • Safely operate a fleet vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card required
  • Prior technical or mechanical repair work required
  • Applicable technical or trade school training preferred
Compensation

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base hourly/salary range of XX to XX plus an annual incentive bonus, commission, and equity target. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/office location.
