Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner

At AdventHealth, we're seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinic. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for examining patients, taking medical histories, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide services within the scope of an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals, and treat health conditions
- Focus on patient wellness and disease prevention
- Provide health education services and counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices
- Understand and comply with risk management protocols, including incident reporting and infection control
- Assist physicians with coordination of clinical activities and orders
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- MSN (Master of Nursing)
- One year's experience
