Responsibilities:- Deliver patient care based on the nursing process, incorporating evidence-based practices and the principles of Relationship Centered Care.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to prioritize care and manage patient flow.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working in a medical-surgical float pool environment, with a strong understanding of patient flow and care coordination.
