Job Title: Radiology Supervisor

The Radiology Supervisor at Mount Sinai Hospital is responsible for overseeing and organizing schedules, evaluating subordinate staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the radiology department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the work of radiology technicians and other staff members
  • Develop and implement schedules to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Manage inventory and supplies, and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in radiology, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • NY State License as Radiologic Technologist
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
