Job Summary:

Della Infotech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Trainers/Instructional Designers to join our team. As a key member of our IT training program, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training content to our end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training materials, including curriculum, instructional models, and multimedia deliverables, to support in-person and virtual instructor-led training sessions.
  • Provide education for IT&S systems, utilizing adult learning principles, instructional best practices, content efficiency, and user self-sufficiency.
  • Collaborate with application analyst teams to equip end-users for successful Epic system deployment, adoption, maintenance, and optimization activities.
  • Interface with operational customers to understand their training needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and financial records.
  • Work effectively within a team environment, accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and collaborating with departmental team members to consolidate work, solve problems, create new methods, and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Four (4) years of experience in education and training, including experience working with computer-related software applications and personal computers.
  • Achievement of Epic Certification within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Existing credential in an Epic application is preferred.
  • Instructional design experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skill in interpersonal communication to effectively interact with users on various software and non-technical problems.
  • Skill in written communication to compose materials for end-users.
  • Knowledge and skill in work processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, email, and scheduling applications.
  • Knowledge of Clinical or Administrative applications and current Summa practices.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of current workflow and design decisions made with application enhancements.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position are light, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously.
