Job Overview

Soliant Education seeks a dedicated Deaf Education Specialist to provide onsite educational support in Augusta, GA.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per yearJob Responsibilities:
  • Provide educational sign language interpretation for a 3rd-grade student with a deaf and autism diagnosis in the classroom setting.
  • Ensure full participation in the academic environment by interpreting both instructional and auditory information.
  • Reteach or redeliver information as necessary to ensure the student comprehends all material.
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia Educational Interpreter Certification (or ability to obtain prior to starting).
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Experience interpreting for students with special needs, including autism, is preferred.
  • Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week, Monday - Friday).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a school environment.
