Job Title: Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team in San Diego, California. As a Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing timely and effective interventions to address critical issues
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including progress notes and medication lists
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in critical care nursing
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California
  • 1-3 years of experience in critical care nursing
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
