We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments, utilizing the seven 'rights' of medication administration, and document patient care accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including therapy and procedures.
- Participate in economical utilization of supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
- Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in patients, such as cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, or sepsis.
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification and ACLS required.
- Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.
$63.48 per hour.
