As an Automation Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and repair of intricate machinery utilized in the production of various assemblies. This role encompasses a wide range of duties and requires the ability to operate independently while adhering to safety protocols.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Interpreting blueprints and visualizing components in three dimensions to execute machine setup and adjustments.
  • Configuring dies and molds to meet specified part requirements based on technical documentation and operational standards.
  • Applying specific machine parameters and welding criteria effectively.
  • Evaluating machinery and production data to identify corrective actions, meticulously documenting all modifications and communicating necessary updates.
  • Upholding cleanliness in the workspace in accordance with 5S standards and ensuring compliance with waste management regulations.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of automated metal forming machinery, including operational nuances and maintenance practices to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Maintaining a production pace that allows for continuous operation of equipment.
  • Monitoring production metrics, troubleshooting minor issues, and seeking assistance for more significant challenges while utilizing statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • Meeting production targets, achieving productivity benchmarks, and documenting machine performance and SPC compliance.
  • Ensuring adherence to part quality standards.
  • Availability for overtime may be required to meet production demands.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Previous experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to pass assessments in reading comprehension, mathematics, and mechanical skills.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools.
  • Commitment to safety, sound judgment, and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with standard mechanical tools.
  • Competence in basic inventory management through reading, writing, and arithmetic.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to input data into computer systems.
  • Physical stamina for prolonged standing and walking, with occasional sitting for inspections and documentation.
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting and manipulating equipment and materials.
