About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering customer questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Drive sales growth by promoting Sherwin-Williams products and services, and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive store environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support store operations.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
