Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Project Accountant will provide high-quality financial services to the project, including job cost analysis, reporting, contract compliance, billings, and requisition/invoice processing. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Train and mentor Project Accountant team members
Oversee accounts receivable and drive proactive collection efforts
Assist project accountants to ensure jobs are reconciled accurately and closed out timely
Coordinate job audits with project accountants and accounting manager
Work on special projects as directed by the Controller or CFO
Respond to all financial inquiries in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure project setup financial/accounting requirements are complete, including kickoff meetings, forms, and budgets
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related degree
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills - Lookups, pivot tables, index and match
Experience with Timberline, Prolog, or COINS, software a plus
Experience with AIA Billing for GMP projects required
Experience working on projects for public entities preferred
Construction industry and/or project accounting experience required

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Job sites are often hot, loud, and generally a hazardous environment.
