EMT-Basic Job Description

Procare Ambulance of Maryland, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate EMT-Basic to join our team. As an EMT-Basic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Basic Life Support care to patients in accordance with COMAR and MIEMSS Protocol.
  • Prepare and document patient care reports, including reason for transport and patient condition.
  • Ensure vehicles, supplies, and equipment are in proper working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Work collaboratively with other EMTs and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Maryland EMT-B.
  • Valid CPR card.
  • National Certification preferred.
  • Experience in inter-facility transport environment preferred.
  • Valid Driving License with no points on driving record (for drivers).
  • EVOC certification or equivalent (for drivers).
