Physical Therapist PRN

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Physical Therapist at Ochsner Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and conduct physical therapy treatment programs based on evaluation, assessment, and medical referral.
- Maintain accurate patient care records and evaluate patient response to treatment, recommending changes to treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in in-service and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Contribute to the education and training of physical therapy students and other healthcare professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current physical therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
