Physical Therapist PRN Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist PRN to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our physical therapy department.
Key Responsibilities- Plans, organizes, and conducts physical therapy treatment programs based on evaluation, assessment, and medical referral.
- Maintains patient care records, evaluates patient response to treatment, and recommends treatment plan changes.
- Participates in in-service and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participates in special departmental programs, clinical education, research, and writing of professional papers.
- Assists with program development and enhancement to improve patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current physical therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
