Respiratory Therapist Opportunity at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will administer therapy modalities as ordered by physician, performing all aspects of mechanical ventilators and arterial puncture and blood gas analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer therapy modalities as ordered by physician
  • Perform all aspects of mechanical ventilators, including initiation, operation, and monitoring
  • Verify physician orders prior to therapy treatment
  • Give accurate reports to oncoming staff at shift end
  • Perform equipment rounds
Requirements:
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Respiratory Therapy Degree – AAS or BS
  • One-year adult critical care experience
  • Previous experience with mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis, and oximetry

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
