Position Overview:
Our Clinical Educators will leverage their clinical and nursing knowledge in a distinctive manner outside of direct patient care, while continuing to work alongside healthcare professionals and advocate for patient welfare through medical device technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver peer-to-peer education and training to nursing staff, physicians, and hospital personnel to facilitate the implementation of medical devices.
- Conduct basic installations of Pulse Oximetry Devices.
- Evaluate specific educational needs of clients and collaborate with staff to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Utilize clinical expertise to address inquiries and resolve concerns related to the medical device.
- Provide updates, reports, and constructive feedback to clients during and after training assignments.
- Serve as a resource for clinical and professional guidance to end users, including nursing staff and physicians, in a non-patient care environment.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to corporate teams to enhance both new and existing medical devices.
- Act as an educational resource regarding the device.
Qualifications:
For Registered Nurses:
- BSN is highly preferred.
- Active RN license is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, Oncology, ER, or critical care within the last 5 years.
- Preferred leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor).
- Proficiency with basic software applications.
- Experience with Pulse Oximetry Devices is preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills are necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate strong professional acumen.
For Registered Respiratory Therapists:
- Active RRT license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ICU, ER, or Critical Care within the last 5 years.
- Preferred leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Educator, Preceptor).
- Proficiency with basic software applications.
- Experience with Pulse Oximetry Devices is preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills are necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate strong professional acumen.
