ERP Software Developer

Chief Industries' Corporate Office is seeking an experienced ERP Developer to join our team. This position is responsible for analyzing, programming, and supporting Chief computer applications, including the IFS ERP System. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Chief products, processes, and standards.
Requirements
- An associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or relevant experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Experience with a variety of software technology is required.
- Working knowledge of Angular, Java, Python, PL/SQL, TSQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Knowledge of C#, CSS, HTML, and other JavaScript/Typescript frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with IFS ERP is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and publish projects applying established Chief standards and based on Chief priorities, programmer expertise, and divisional needs.
- Modularize and reuse code where practical.
- Keep code repository system up to date.
- Provide support of existing applications as needed.
- Provide training for users and staff members on procedures required for executing applications.
- Development of reports using Crystal Reports, IFS Quick Reports, and other tools as needed.
- Collaborative interaction with IT staff and customers to assist in problem solving, defining projects, and understanding divisional procedures and goals.
- Acts as liaison with manufacturers and vendors of software and application products for ongoing Chief initiatives such as EDI or 3rd party interfaces.
- Contribute to the enhancement of Chief's growth by learning new skills needed to support our projects.
- Keep the team updated on project status by timely reporting of progress with provided tools.
- Familiarity with working in an agile/scrum cadence.
- Provide unparalleled personal attention to meeting the needs of our customers.
- Treat all stakeholders with dignity and respect.
- Pro-actively identify, document, and resolve issues.
- Lead cross-functional work groups to identify and document detailed requirements, workflow, information sources, and distribution paths, and system specifications.
- Evaluate user requirements and implement working solutions through system design, analysis, testing, training, and documentation.
- Apply technical and business knowledge in the analysis of user requirements.
- Willingness to be available outside of regular work hours for maintenance functions such as software roll-out and on-call availability.
- Other duties as assigned.
