Job Summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Sales Customer Engagement professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer engagement experiences that meet the evolving needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute customer engagement strategies that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide clinical and scientific expertise to customers, including product information, disease state education, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer engagement experiences.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to healthcare providers on topics such as product access, on-label information, and established guidance on patient care.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
  • Must reside within commutable distance of 50 miles of the primary city in the sales territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences or related industry engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players.
  • 4 or more years of experience working in a sales role with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products and working across a complex healthcare system environment.
  • Clinical nurse or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) experience highly valued.
