Position Summary:

We are currently expanding our Hog Striping and Waterblasting divisions and are looking for several Laborers to assist with various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in physical activities that may include prolonged driving, standing, and walking, as well as loading and unloading equipment.
  • Work from elevated positions, such as ladders or truck beds.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, demonstrating manual dexterity and physical agility.
  • Perform outdoor work while ensuring safety around high-speed traffic and heavy machinery.
  • Adapt to varying environmental conditions, including wet and low-visibility situations.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings, including the movement of vehicles and other personnel on site.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to complete necessary documentation.
  • Be flexible with work hours, which may include day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and pass required background checks and drug screenings.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a labor-intensive role.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Independence in completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Strong representation skills when interacting with clients.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, particularly in mining environments, is advantageous.

Work Environment:

This position requires adaptability to various working conditions, which may include exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise.

Position Type:

This is a full-time role with a schedule that may vary between day and night shifts. Travel is a significant component of this position, with the expectation of working at various locations.
