Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operator to join our team at Novant Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our plant utility equipment, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain plant utility equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform scheduled work requests and PMs on all shifts
  • Act as the Facilities Services department liaison for all staff and contracted services during off-shift hours
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in a technical field or graduation from a trades-related school preferred
  • Five years of experience in Plant Operations or seven years of experience in a related mechanical field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
