Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Service and Technical Advising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to railroad employees, management, and Wabtec staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and Wabtec employees on troubleshooting, material handling, tooling, and safety procedures.
  • Clarify procedures and contract requirements to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to customers and Wabtec employees on key programs and procedures.
  • Coordinate and provide instruction on production plans, labor, material, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, OSHA work practices, and industry/site-specific work rules.
  • Make risk assessments and balance customer requests with Wabtec requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication between management and operators.
  • Investigate and report incidents, spills, accidents, and poor performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or Associate's degree in Technical discipline with minimum 2 years of professional work experience, or a high school diploma/GED with minimum 4 years of Operations or Military experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of Operations or Engineering experience.
  • Willingness and ability to work various shifts, various days (24/7 coverage required for Work order team support).
