Certification Requirements
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is mandatory.
  • State Requirement: A valid Medical Radiographer license or a Temporary Medical Radiographer license as per Nebraska Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure is essential, with a validity of 18 months post-issuance and non-renewable.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration or registry eligibility is required, or alternatively, RCIS certification.
  • BLS certification is a prerequisite.
  • ACLS certification is also required.
Position Overview
  • The Cardiovascular Technologist will execute a variety of technical skills during different cardiovascular procedures, adhering to organizational protocols and established professional care standards.
  • The Interventional Radiologic Technologist will perform specialized radiographic procedures in line with organizational policies and professional standards, ensuring accountability for the quality of examinations.
Job Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Completion of an accredited two-year program for Cardiovascular Technicians or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology is essential.
Work Schedule

Availability for some weekends and holidays, along with on-call shifts, is expected.

Additional Information
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician or Radiologic Technologist.
  • The role requires the application of specialized knowledge, judgment, and critical thinking skills to achieve precise diagnostic imaging.
