Job OverviewPosition: Information Assurance Systems Engineer

Role Summary

We are in search of a proactive Systems Engineer with Department of Defense Cyber expertise to spearhead our cyber fortification initiatives. Key responsibilities encompass the enhancement of product baselines, ensuring operational effectiveness on testing assets, drafting procedures and documentation for client utilization, deploying updates, and instructing end-users. Additionally, you will oversee the integration and testing of radar systems both on-site and at government testing facilities, develop integration methodologies, compose procedural documentation, and execute integration tasks with a comprehensive understanding of intricate subsystems. Other responsibilities include assuming accountability for product Cyber Security, delivering training on Cyber Fortification methodologies, formulating technical project plans, conducting operational evaluations, pinpointing shortcomings, proposing corrective measures, and guiding fellow engineers.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS, SCAP Compliance Checker)
  • Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guide controls across Windows, Linux, and network devices
Interpersonal Skills
  • Exceptional technical writing and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to mentor and guide fellow engineers
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various engineering domains

This role is based in a fully on-site setting, fostering a collaborative atmosphere with diverse engineering disciplines, including Software, Hardware, Mechanical, and Manufacturing. The team comprises approximately 100 members and is actively expanding. Operates on a 9/80 work schedule.
