Job Overview

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a seasoned Program Director to lead the establishment and maintenance of an effective management organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing various tasks and ensuring the successful execution of programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Minimum three years of experience managing contracts of a similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Budget Forecasting: Experience in budget forecasting and use of Earned Value Management or similar processes.
  • Subcontractor Management: Experience managing subcontractors.
  • Program Planning: Minimum five years of experience managing engineering and technical services supporting Navy combat systems or weapon systems programs.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrated experience identifying technical and programmatic risk areas and in development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
  • Navy Policies and Procedures: Direct experience with and understanding of Navy policies and procedures through personal participation in planning meetings, program reviews, and technical working groups.
  • Key Personnel: The key personnel must be located in the Port Hueneme, CA local area.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Navy Combat System or Weapon System Test & Evaluation: At least three years of experience in Navy Combat System or Weapon System Test & Evaluation.
Security Clearance
  • Secret Clearance: Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree: Minimum Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
Compensation

The annualized pay range is $130,000 - $150,000. Please note that the base pay is determined by factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's related work experience, education/training/certifications, key skills, internal peer equity/external market competitiveness, as well as other business considerations.
