Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will apply your technical expertise to design, document, troubleshoot, support, and commission automated control systems governing Aerzen supplied products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the engineering team in supporting production, quality, and sales & service teams in areas related to Aerzen's shipment, quality control, and customer service goals.
  • Understand and address all aspects of project-related technical specifications, internal equipment datasheets, stakeholder concerns, and equipment, application, and project risks to provide the best possible customer value and Aerzen solution.
  • Develop automated solutions that integrate and control Aerzen packages and related processes in a professional, organized structure with thorough documentation and rigid revision control.
  • Manage and execute project work and strategic product development activities with a reasonable degree of latitude.
  • Develop, issue, and manage the proper completion of controls business-associated technical documents, including submittal documents, testing procedures, process flow diagrams, technical memos, control narratives, commissioning reports, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • Minimum 2-6 years of relevant professional experience in the instrumentation and controls field.
  • Preferred expertise in control system hardware and software design, industrial compressed gas/air distribution systems, environmental operation, and wastewater treatment.
  • Proficiency in structured text, ladder logic, and object-oriented programming, as well as MS Office programs.
