A/Z Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for supporting project management teams with documentation on multiple industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain open communication among project team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Interface with project management and estimating teams to ensure accurate project documentation.
- Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential issues.
- Create and maintain drawing logs and submittal logs to track project progress.
- Develop and implement submittal schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Prioritize, process, track, and maintain submittals and RFIs in a computerized database to ensure project compliance.
- Review and distribute contract document updates to project stakeholders.
- Support project teams in resolving issues and addressing project-related concerns.
- Develop and maintain project closeout packages to ensure smooth project handover.
- Provide technical support to project managers and estimating teams on special projects.
- Assist with procurement and scope package development to ensure accurate project documentation.
- Coordinate with project controls department to ensure project compliance.
- Provide technical support to project managers on project reports and change management.
- Assist project managers with drafting QAQC plans to ensure project quality.
- Support projects with job site visits as required to ensure project execution.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required to support project management teams.
