About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to join our team at Amazon Software Builder Experience. As a UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications to create seamless user experiences.
  • Develop and communicate design guidelines, patterns, and libraries to ensure consistency across products.
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
  • Partner with the technology team to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of user experience.
  • Contribute to the development of design systems and best practices for web-based application information architecture.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or information architect.
  • 3+ years of experience designing for web-based, responsive, and accessible applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or 5+ years equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, XD, or Illustrator.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, or related UX degree.
  • Experience working with React-based applications.
  • Experience with design systems and atomic design.
  • Strong understanding of web technology and best practices.
