As a Project Site Civil Engineer in our Latham (Albany), NY office, you will oversee all stages of various land development and infrastructure initiatives, including feasibility assessments, schematic designs, site plan approvals, construction support, and project commissioning. You will collaborate with a talented team of professionals across multiple disciplines, engaging in rewarding and challenging work. At C.T. Male, you will have the chance to manage large-scale projects while also exploring different aspects of civil engineering that align with your interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Lead the development of project designs, including site civil plans, engineering reports, calculations, specifications, and technical documents necessary for municipal permits and construction documents.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in site civil design and permitting processes, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility applications.
  • Encourage teamwork through strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and regulatory bodies.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to foster cooperation and satisfaction.
  • Exhibit leadership in quality assurance and control through adherence to the firm's quality management protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant technical experience.
  • New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Familiarity with land-use regulations and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Planning Board presentations and public speaking.
  • Ability to prepare professional proposals, including project scopes, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Over twelve years of consulting engineering experience.
  • Experience in staff management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
