Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Admitting and Registration: Ensure accurate and timely admission and registration of patients, including verifying patient information and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments and procedures, coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent communication and customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Insurance and Billing: Verify and complete insurance requirements, process billing and payment, and resolve any billing-related issues.
  • Medical Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient information, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a customer service or support role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
