Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Job Summary:

FlexTek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our station operation, prioritizing workplace safety, and maintaining financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the station operation, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prioritize workplace safety by implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits, and addressing any safety concerns.
  • Monitor and control labor costs and expenditures to maintain financial performance and achieve company goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer relationships and contract retention.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business plans, processes, and procedures that drive company profitability and operational success.
  • Ensure that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and exceeded, and that monthly performance metrics are achieved.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide assistance with recruitment, training, and development of employees.
  • Represent FlexTek in a professional and positive manner, both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of management experience in the aviation cargo industry or a similar operational role.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry-specific software and technology experience.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Math Ability: Ability to understand and analyze financial operations, profit and loss statements, customer invoices, and other mathematical functions necessary to manage the airport operation.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, Online Timekeeping, and Outlook, sufficient to write letters, organize schedules, and perform other tasks related to payroll and operations.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid State Driver's License with a verifiable safe vehicle operating record.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct or indirect supervision of all on-site FlexTek personnel.
