Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician III to join our team at St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services to clients of all ages, including initial intake, assessments, brief therapy, crisis evaluation, and coordination of mental healthcare benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct mental health services to clients, including individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services, adhering to organizational policies and billing requirements.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies to procure authorizations and ensure compliance with health plan and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in peer review and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Current unrestricted license in the State of California as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • One year of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in substance abuse treatment, eating disorders, or leading groups and classes.
  • Advanced training in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
