Job Summary:

Telecare Corp. is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide support and training to individuals with developmental disabilities who require behavioral supports and assistance with daily living tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal planning and activities of daily living
  • Help individuals identify and achieve their hopes and dreams
  • Work under the supervision of the Program Administrator
  • Complete required training for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Obtain RBT certification within twelve months of initial employment
  • Complete Direct Support Professional (DSP) competency-based training course
  • Valid and current driver's license and personal vehicle insurance
  • Willingness to use personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups

Requirements:

  • High School Graduation or G.E.D.
  • Six months of prior experience providing direct care and special services to persons with developmental disabilities
  • Valid and current driver's license and personal vehicle insurance
