Position Summary:
We are looking for a PCC - Advanced Appointment Coordinator who will collaborate effectively with both staff and patients to arrange intricate appointments.

Key Responsibilities:


Execute advanced and time-consuming scheduling tasks to facilitate complex surgical procedures and/or imaging services outside of the current clinic, such as those in hospitals or outpatient radiology centers.

To qualify as advanced and time-consuming, at least 75% of the employee's time must be dedicated to fulfilling all three of the following scheduling responsibilities: Cases conducted in an ambulatory surgery center or inpatient environment; Coordination across multiple specialties.

Coordination of pre-operative and post-operative testing and clearance. Additional responsibilities may include: Coordination of complex, sequential treatment appointments, including clinical trials and standard care patients.

Coordination of evaluations and work-ups related to transplants for both donors and patients. Act as the primary point of contact for these patients and their families.

Additional Duties:
Registering or scheduling new patients and follow-up visits.

Arranging ancillary appointments and imaging services within their local clinic.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 months of experience in healthcare scheduling is required.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
