About the Opportunity

Vail Health Technician Healthsource seeks a seasoned Strategic Philanthropy Leader to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in securing major gifts to support our strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies for assigned benefactors
• Create and present targeted gift proposals to new and/or current benefactors
• Maintain a portfolio of approximately 75 assigned benefactors and ensure timely stewardship of their contributions
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify prospective benefactors and advance relationships with benefactors/prospects

Requirements

• 7 years of fundraising experience, including cultivation and solicitation of major and principal gifts
• Proven track record of success in managing staff and/or projects, goal setting, and strategic planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with benefactors and colleagues
• Proficient in Raiser's Edge or other high-end donor/donations management software and solid experience with Salesforce, WealthEngine, and similar
