Full Job Description

The Contractor Consultants is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth in both our residential and commercial construction services. This role offers a commission-based compensation structure with a possible base pay during the first 30 days to help you get started.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored construction solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations and meetings with prospective clients, clearly communicating the benefits and features of our construction services.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotes to clients, ensuring alignment with their project requirements and budget.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position The Contractor Consultants' services.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the project management and estimating teams to ensure accurate project scopes and smooth handoffs from sales to execution.
  • Client Follow-Up: Provide exceptional post-sale support, addressing any client concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management using the company's CRM system.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience: Preferred experience in construction sales, real estate, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be comfortable climbing/working from roofs.
  • Able to carry/move heavy roofing materials and equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Ability to understand and communicate technical construction details and benefits to clients.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attributes: High level of integrity, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for traveling to client meetings and job sites.
  • Must be comfortable climbing/working from roofs.
  • Must be able to carry/move heavy roofing materials and equipment.
