About the Role:

  • Ensure a safe and efficient work environment by enforcing facility policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain workflow to meet daily output goals and customer needs.
  • Record and analyze departmental metrics to recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, and employee performance.
  • Communicate goals and standards to employees and ensure effective communication.
  • Resolve employee issues through active listening, data analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Conduct employee training and performance appraisals as scheduled.
  • Maintain departmental standards in safety, quality, productivity, utilization, delivery, training, and other designated areas.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area through 5S and lean tools.
  • Use and promote designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of production supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate across all levels of the company.
  • Experience with MS Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Printing experience.
  • Leadership experience and training.
  • Continuous Improvement/lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with environmental and safety regulations.
