Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Business Solutions Analyst with a robust background in Retail, B2B Commerce, and Supply Chain domains.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in translating business vision into actionable functional requirements for our products.
As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will serve as a vital link between business and IT teams, collaborating with cross-functional groups to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with the product's business vision.
Specialized Skills & Technologies
A profound understanding of B2B Commerce, Digital Marketing, Cloud, and Data Hub platforms is essential, with a focus on leveraging these systems to meet business objectives and enhance customer experiences.
Experience with integrating commerce or web applications with external systems using Data Hub and managing both batch and real-time data transfer and synchronization is crucial for ensuring seamless data flow between applications and other enterprise systems.
Proficiency in utilizing APIs to connect applications with various services, including developing and managing API-led connectivity to extend platform capabilities and integrate third-party solutions.
Experience in deploying cloud-native solutions in cloud environments and a solid understanding of cloud platform fundamentals (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is required, including knowledge of cloud architecture principles and resources to optimize application performance.
Familiarity with database concepts and their application to e-commerce platforms is important for ensuring data integrity and performance.
Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS) and their role in creating user-friendly interfaces is beneficial, emphasizing integration with backend applications for a cohesive user experience.
Awareness of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to e-commerce and digital platforms is necessary to protect customer data and maintain trust.
Exposure to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices is valuable for improving development efficiency and reliability.
Expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, is essential, with the ability to facilitate agile ceremonies and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.
This includes a commitment to agile principles for rapid development cycles and adapting to evolving business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications for B2B applications and inventory solutions.
Design business solutions that meet or exceed performance and scalability expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of business solutions with processes.
Act as the liaison between business and technical teams, effectively communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Oversee the entire lifecycle of applications, from concept through design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Stay updated on the latest cloud features, technologies, and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Management, or Business Intelligence.
4+ years of experience in a business or technology role, closely collaborating with functions outside of IT to understand business processes.
Strong experience in systems development lifecycle models such as Agile or traditional project management principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of business processes and the ability to design, configure, and deploy solutions to support them.
Experience leading Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) processes and gathering requirements for automating acceptance tests.
Proven ability to build consensus and buy-in with key stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to Agile delivery values of openness, commitment, respect, courage, and focus.
Physical Demands
Physical demands include significant time spent sitting and typing on a computer or mobile device.
Occasional physical activity may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and lifting up to 20lbs.
