Business Growth Strategist

BrightView Landscape Services is seeking an experienced Business Developer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving profitable growth and achieving long-term organizational strategic goals.
About the Role:
The Business Developer will work closely with various departments, including operations, finance, and marketing, to manage responses to bids and meet sales targets. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing solutions to prospective customers' needs and pain points
- Achieving sales goals and working independently
- Performing sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques to build long-standing business relationships
- Preparation and delivery of sales presentations, virtual demonstrations, and contract negotiations
- Identifying customer needs and utilizing solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate value of BrightView services
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Building trust-based professional relationships with key decision makers
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid to senior levels, 3-5 years of experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory
- Proficient with computer programs, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with a CRM or SFA tool
- Proven track record of sales goal attainment and pipeline management
- Highly competitive, positive, and results-driven individual
- Excellent presentation skills and oral and written communication skills
