The Role:

This Tax Policy Specialist role sits within our Market Access and Public Affairs department and works closely with our Corporate Tax team to develop and implement tax policies that support the company's long-term ambitions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax policy and its impact on the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of US tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance company priorities and analyze business impact of select policy proposals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on tax policy issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Communicate effectively with federal agencies, senior leaders, and other external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strategic networks of relationships internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • J.D. or advanced degree required.
  • 8+ years of policy development, advocacy, legal, government affairs, or other relevant experience required.
  • Expert knowledge of tax policy and its impact on the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and legal experience preferred.
  • Strong executive presence and communication/presentation skills.
  • Ability to convey passion and generate excitement among internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical abilities.

  • Base compensation range: $200,000 to $259,000 per year.
