Retail Sales Manager - Cosmetics/Jewelry

Boscov's Department Stores is seeking a skilled Retail Sales Manager to lead our cosmetics and jewelry department. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of sales associates to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and participate in the merchandising and setup of the cosmetics and jewelry department to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customer service and product knowledge to customers, adhering to company standards.
  • Accurately complete sales transactions and paperwork, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Track daily and weekly sales, and complete sales reports.
  • Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise and manage sales and stock functions.
  • Aid in training and coaching of cosmetics beauty advisors to achieve sales goals.
  • Attend training sessions held by cosmetics lines as needed.
  • Complete weekly schedules with Human Resources.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous cosmetics management experience preferred.
  • Cosmetology license a plus.
  • Strong selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, motivating, delegating, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn computer systems, POS register, telxon, and interpret reports.
  • Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.
