Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Sales Department Manager to join our team at Boscov's Department Stores. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of associates to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.

• Supervise and participate in the merchandising and setup of the selling floor to maximize sales and customer service.
• Provide customer service as per company standards, with a strong focus on product knowledge and cosmetic products.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and paperwork, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Track daily and weekly sales, and complete sales reports.
• Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise and manage the activities of the sales and stock functions.
• Aid in training and coaching of cosmetics Beauty Advisors to help them achieve sales goals.
• Attend training sessions held by cosmetics lines as needed.
• Complete weekly schedules with Human Resources.

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous cosmetics management experience preferred.
• Cosmetology license a plus.
• Strong selling and/or customer service experience, preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Problem-solving, motivating, delegating, having initiative, and leadership skills.
• Ability to learn computer systems, POS register, telxon, and interpret reports.
• Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.
