Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Grooming Technician to join our team at Tractor Supply Company. As a Grooming Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pet grooming services to our customers, ensuring their pets receive the highest level of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enroll and complete the Paragon training program for Level 1 (Groom Tech) within the required timeline of five weeks.
  • Provide safe and gentle pet handling, bathing, drying, brushing, and combing services for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
  • Trim nails, clean ears, and perform basic clipper techniques and finishing techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers and their pets.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety training and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats, demonstrating patience and compassion for animals.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with moderate noise levels and exposure to sharp grooming instruments, perfumed shampoos and soaps, pets, and pet waste. Regularly standing and moving for 4-8 hours per day, with occasional lifting or reaching overhead, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
