Position Overview:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) plays a crucial role within the healthcare team, collaborating with various professionals including providers, behavioral health consultants, registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), medical assistants (MAs), and care coordinators assigned to a specific group of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
The PSR is responsible for scheduling appointments, registering patients, and collecting essential information to enhance the patient experience and ensure that financial obligations to the organization are met. All duties should be executed in a courteous, professional, and timely manner, with a strong emphasis on being attentive to the needs of patients.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Exhibit flexibility in scheduling, including availability for up to two evenings per week and participation in a Saturday rotation to manage front desk responsibilities.
- Have the ability and means to travel as necessary, including proof of liability and property damage insurance for the vehicle used.
