Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Midway Products Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Representing the Quality Manager in their absence on current production concerns
  • Conducting and facilitating problem-solving activities
  • Visiting customers to present corrective actions when needed
  • Auditing supplier concerns
  • Performing daily data reviews and SPC analysis
  • Creating and maintaining PPAP packages and shop floor quality documentation
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects for the plant
  • Interfacing with plant, engineering, customer, supplier, and production personnel to enhance the introduction of new parts into production
  • Handling and tracking sample submissions, including writing and updating control plans, FMEA's, inspection check sheets, reports, etc.
  • Coordinating prototype documentation, tagging, and shipment
  • Conducting new employee quality orientation as needed
  • Having the authority to stop production operations concerning plant quality or safety issues
  • Assisting with internal EMS auditing and multiple other areas as directed
  • Treating all team members with respect and dignity
