Provisional Customer Field Representative

We are seeking a Provisional Customer Field Representative to join our team at Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. This is a temporary position that will continue until such time as the Company determines that it no longer needs these services.
Key Responsibilities- Read electric and gas meters as well as perform field collection activities throughout Con Edison service territory based on operating needs.
- Communicate with poise and tact to handle routine customer interactions in a pleasant and courteous manner.
- Be organized and accurate in work.
- Work in a position in which you are constantly aware of your surroundings and/or personal safety.
- Use good judgment in making on-the-job decisions.
- Required to have and use personal vehicle for work and able to secure job equipment in vehicle.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Driver's License Required
- Ability to respond to system emergencies
- Ability to work in adverse conditions that include, noise, confined spaces, and high elevations
- Ability to work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)
- Stand, walk, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the workday
- Acknowledge that if selected, must pass a Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
