Job Title: Director of Software Engineering

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead our Strategic Deterrent Systems Division Software team. This position will be responsible for building and leading common processes and tools, as well as providing technical expertise in all phases of software development across all programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the software requirements, architecture, and system design teams
  • Develop and implement technologies associated with production processes
  • Manage budgets and standards of performance
  • Collaborate with program management teams and stakeholders to define and execute software statements of work
  • Establish and maintain open communications with Enterprise functions, including Engineering, Quality, and Logistics
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • 5 years of experience in a formal management/lead position
  • 3+ years of experience with management, budgeting, and technology implementation
  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain program special access
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Northrop Grumman project execution, processes, and procedures

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $181,000 - $314,400, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. The application period for this position is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
