Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II to join our team at Laredo Medical Center's Skilled Nursing unit. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide high-quality patient care and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Laredo Medical Center is a 326-bed acute care hospital located in sunny Laredo, Texas. Our hospital offers a wide range of services, including surgical, neurology, and cardiac care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
  • Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures as needed.
  • Document patient interactions as needed.
Requirements
  • Current and valid Texas Nurse Aide Registry certification.
  • BLS certification prior to patient contact.
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred or experience.
  • 1-2 years of nursing home or long-term care experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000-$50,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
